Some companies have a workhorse. DestrierOS is being built as the War Horse.

DestrierOS
DestrierOS is a multi-tenant operations platform for field-service teams that need communications, service intake, customer work, fleet telematics, scheduling, people operations, forms, learning, compliance, and reporting to operate from one system.
The product started from an operator problem: real work was being split across inboxes, service queues, paperwork apps, spreadsheets, policies, fleet tools, and systems that did not talk to each other. DestrierOS is the operating picture I wish we had: one place where the handoffs finally hold.
Overview
DestrierOS connects customer relations, GPS and locations, workforce scheduling, human resources, employee self-service, forms, learning, compliance, reporting, communications, service intake, billing controls, and admin controls. The goal is not to stack unrelated modules beside each other. The goal is to let work begin in one place and remain visible across the rest of the operation.
The platform has grown from scheduling and CRM into a broader field-service command center: customer records, service requests, emails, fleet events, staff availability, forms, training status, audit evidence, and executive reporting can all refer to the same tenant, permissions, and activity history.
What it brings together
Customer and service work
CRM, service intake, request triage, queue views, SLA policies, approval paths, work order handoff, customer visibility, quotes, documents, and account-linked scheduling.
Communications
Microsoft and Google inbox connections, message sync, drafts, scheduled send, replies, signatures, mailbox rules, notifications, mentions, and record-linked thread comments.
Fleet and telematics
Mapbox live mapping, Teltonika hardware ingestion, devices, drivers, assets, maintenance intelligence, geofences, event review, coaching packets, and CSV evidence.
Workforce scheduling
Employees, shifts, jobs, meetings, company hours, conflict intelligence, dispatch assist, auto-schedule recommendations, and crew changes.
People operations
HR records, onboarding, offboarding, leave, policy acknowledgements, employee self-service, manager queues, and compliance tracking.
Forms and learning
Secure forms, packet workflows, encrypted sensitive fields, training materials, quizzes, certifications, learner progress, and recertification alerts.
Reporting and control
Company-scoped permissions, record-level access controls, saved reports, alerts, audit trails, compliance programs, release evidence, billing controls, and workflow automation.
Current status
DestrierOS is a live web platform with real product depth across communications, service intake, CRM, fleet, workforce, HR, forms, learning, compliance, reporting, permissions, and admin operations. It is built for multiple companies to operate in the same system while only seeing their own data.
- Live foundation: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Supabase Auth, Postgres, Row-Level Security, Storage, Mapbox, and a Node 24 runtime target.
- Operational surface: Dashboard, Communications, Service Intake, Customer Relations, GPS & Locations, Employees, HR, My HR, Forms, Learning, Reports, Compliance, Profile, Billing, and Admin.
- Security model: Company-scoped isolation with row-level security, role defaults, module permissions, workspace permissions, record-level controls, audit trails, and release guardrails.
- Fleet path: Browser tracking has expanded into Teltonika hardware ingestion, live rollout checks, device diagnostics, trips, stops, geofence events, maintenance candidates, driver coaching, history search, and fleet evidence exports.
- Commercial readiness: Packaged operating tiers, Stripe billing portal/webhook support, tenant entitlements, billing contacts, account-hold flows, and platform-admin billing visibility.
- Pilot readiness: Production pilot planning is evidence-led, with named workflow criteria, migration rehearsal, smoke checks, support cadence, issue triage, and rollback gates.
Mobile & field app foundation
The mobile work has moved from roadmap idea into a separate Expo field app foundation. The current package, DestrierOS Field, is being aligned to the web platform's permissions, audit model, tenant checks, billing state, and operational workflows before field execution is expanded.
- Offline queue models for work status, forms, drafts, signatures, binary evidence, clock events, and location events.
- Secure session memory, reconnect checks, company membership validation, entitlement checks, and permission parity.
- Location policy tiers for company-owned devices and user-owned devices, including clocked-in-only tracking.
- Native capability planning for background location, push notifications, camera/photo evidence, motion safety, secure storage, SQLite, and network state.
- Mobile GPS is designed to feed the same trip, stop, idle, geofence, route history, overspeed, coaching, and exception-review model as hardware trackers when company policy allows it.
Roadmap direction
The roadmap is focused on turning DestrierOS into a fuller end-to-end operating system: production pilot expansion, mobile field workflows, inventory and purchasing, work orders, accounting and payroll integration, contract lifecycle management, public APIs, webhooks, BI feeds, and advanced analytics.
The through-line is practical: field teams should be able to create, schedule, execute, communicate about, document, bill, report on, and improve work without stitching together half a dozen systems.
Role & responsibilities
Schardt Industries is leading DestrierOS from concept through product architecture, engineering, interface design, database design, security rules, implementation, deployment, release readiness, and ongoing product planning.
- Designed the multi-tenant data model and company-scoped permission structure.
- Built connected product modules across communications, service intake, CRM, fleet, workforce, HR, forms, learning, compliance, reports, billing, and admin controls.
- Implemented Teltonika telematics ingestion and fleet evidence workflows alongside browser and mobile-location foundations.
- Developed customer-facing guides, quick starts, enterprise gap analyses, pilot readiness packets, release gates, and roadmap materials.
- Designed commercial packaging, tenant entitlements, Stripe billing support, billing holds, and platform-admin visibility.
- Iterated the system around real operational pressure from field, dispatch, service, HR, compliance, finance, and leadership workflows.
